Like many homeowners, you may take your gutters for granted. However, it’s important to remember that the gutters are part of your roofing system designed to guide water away from your home.
The roof drives water to the gutters, and the gutters direct it away from your house. If this system malfunctions, water can seep into the home and cause massive damage.
You may think that a gutter full of leaves, sticks and debris is no big deal, but that build up can stay for a long time, causing water to back up into the home. In addition, pests, rodents, and mold can take up residence in the debris. This build up also makes a great place for the honeycombs of bees to start.
